Job summary

QinetiQ Group plc in Farnborough is seeking a Workplace Manager to coordinate and optimise workplace environments across the estate, aligning with Real Estate, Facilities Management, Operations and senior stakeholders.

You will lead workplace change (moves, reconfigurations, refurbishments) and drive space utilisation, resilience and sustainable service delivery with on-site attendance at least three days per week. The role collaborates with Engineers, IT, HR and business leaders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in workplace management, facilities management, estates operations, or a similar environment-focused role
• Experience delivering workplace change initiatives (moves, reconfigurations, refurbishments)
• Experience analysing workplace, utilisation, or performance data to inform decisions
• Strong stakeholder engagement across multiple business functions
• Professional qualifications in workplace, FM, or estates management are desirable (e.g., IWFM)
• NEBOSH or IOSH knowledge desirable
• PRINCE2 or APM experience considered beneficial

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day management of workplace environments ensuring they are safe, compliant, and operating efficiently
• Maintaining a consistent standard of service delivery across all sites
• Implementing workplace strategies that support organisational goals and employee experience
• Analysing occupancy and utilisation data to optimise space and drive cost-effective estate decisions
• Acting as central contact for leaders across Estates Strategy, Facilities Operations, HR, IT and partners
• Drive supplier accountability and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal standards
