Job summary

Aztec Group in Jersey is seeking a Manager I – Workplace Operations to lead the Jersey Workplace service, accountable for operations delivery, local team leadership, and contracts. You'll partner with the Manager II and own the local workplace outcomes.

The role covers building operations, health and safety, security, budgeting and supplier management, with a focus on visitor and employee experience. We offer a flexible, hybrid working model and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in workplace operations or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of building operations, health and safety, and compliance.
• Proven leadership and people-management skills.
• Commercial awareness with budgets and contracts.
• Excellent stakeholder-management and communication.
• Highly organized with record-keeping discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead Jersey Workplace team and set priorities, service standards.
• Own full Jersey Workplace service and budget control.
• Oversee building operations, maintenance, and safety compliance.
• Manage security, access control, and liaison with property manager.
• Coordinate supplier contracts, risk assessments and permits.
• Deliver Workplace Experience standards for visitors and staff.
• Maintain records, floor plans, and service documentation.
• Support capital works and workplace-change projects.
• Provide leadership during incidents affecting access or operations.
• Report KPIs, risks, and budget to Manager 2.
