Job summary

Anderson Scott Solutions is seeking a Workplace Host in Birmingham City Centre to ensure a First-Class service across the regional corporate portfolio. You will manage front of house, coordinate FM services, support IT and events, and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.

The role involves daily walk rounds, monitoring KPIs/SLA, handling meetings, and coordinating relocations or moves as required. A proactive, detail-oriented approach with excellent communication is essential.

  • Previous experience of working within a high profile corporate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily walk arounds logging any faults or issues with the Helpdesk.
  • Track & manage all open jobs through to final completion.
  • Quality check paperwork to ensure compliance and audit satisfaction.
  • Ensure excellent communication by attending operational meetings with the team.
  • Point of contact for FM services including maintenance, repairs, fabric works & requirements.
  • Assist with setting up meeting rooms and layouts when required
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with the client, customers and vendors to promote excellent customer service.
  • Ensure all signage and artwork is on brand and compliant removing any non-conformity.
  • Undertake basic reception duties e.g. booking & managing meeting rooms, welcome & escort visitors (book/ check them in), hospitality, general Front of House admin etc
  • IT support e.g. daily checking IT kit on desks and in meeting rooms, completing fixes where possible, logging IT tickets where fix isn't possible, and tracking job through to completion
  • Understand escalation process both on client and business side for reporting all operational and risk issues;
  • Effectively monitor delivery of Reactive/PPM works and ensure contract KPI's/SLA's are monitored and met
  • Order stationery, consumables, tea/coffee etc meeting room lunches, refreshments, monthly drinks
  • Set up monthly drinks and assist with other office events
  • Organise couriers incoming/outgoing post return leavers IT kit to LondonComply with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and audit compliance.
  • Attention to detail of communication to team, stakeholders and the business in general including emails, signage and poster management
  • Responsible for ensuring Front of House is covered at all times arranging temps when required
  • Be the face of Workplace & 'go to' person for all workplace related matters.
  • Landlord liaison around access permits, booking in contractors, loading bay etc. .
  • Support office moves and re-locations.

Role purpose
