AO.com in Bolton is seeking a Workplace Coordinator to ensure a welcoming, safe and efficient workplace for employees, visitors and contractors. You will work closely with the Senior Facilities Manager to deliver reception, catering and broader workplace services, coordinating suppliers and supporting key projects across AO sites.

This onsite role requires flexibility, strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset to drive improvements in the workplace experience for AOers.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day delivery of reception and front-of-house services; identifies opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
• Maintain reception cover and flex between front-of-house and broader team responsibilities.
• Support operations management of catering, spa, cleaning, workplace wellbeing and site services.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and monitor service standards.
• Coordinate visitor management, hospitality and workplace events.
• Assist with audits, compliance activities and service reviews.
• Monitor service performance and escalate issues as needed.
• Review workplace environment to identify and implement improvements to layout and utilization.

We’re hiring a Workplace Coordinator to create a great experience for every employee, visitor and contractor who walks through our doors. You'll support the delivery of workplace services including reception, catering and the spa, ensuring our workplace sites are welcoming, safe and running smoothly. You'll work closely with the Senior Facilities Manager to coordinate day-to-day operations, drive service improvements and support key projects while remaining hands-on and providing daily reception cover. This role sits at the heart of the workplace experience team and acts as a key link between AOers, suppliers and operational teams. You'll be visible across the business, helping to solve problems, improve services and ensure our workplace supports employees to do their best work.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

• Day-to-day delivery of reception and front-of-house services; proactively identifies opportunities to improve processes, standards and ways of working.
• Maintain reception cover throughout the day as required, flexing between front-of-house and broader team responsibilities.
• Support the ops management of catering, spa, cleaning, workplace wellbeing and site services.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and monitor service standards.

• Assist with audits, compliance activities and service reviews.
• Monitor service performance and escalate issues where needed.
• Regularly review the workplace environment to identify and implement improvements to layout, utilisation and operational effectiveness.
• Flexible approach to travel, with the ability to visit and support multiple sites as required.

• Reception, facilities, hospitality or workplace services with great organizational skills.
• Experience coordinating suppliers, contractors or service providers with excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach to solving problems, making improvements and managing multiple priorities.
