Job summary

Dovetail & Slate Ltd is recruiting to support learners in the workplace as a temporary Workplace Assessment Care facilitator in the East of England. You will visit learners at their place of work to assess competence against qualification requirements and provide clear feedback to help them progress.

You will plan assessments with each learner, gather and judge evidence, monitor progress toward completion and work with employers to ensure learners receive the support they need.

Qualifications

• Experience of assessing learners in the workplace or assessor qualification.
• Ability to plan, organise and manage a caseload of learners.
• Clear communication with learners and employers.

Responsibilities

• Planning and carrying out assessments with care learners in the workplace.
• Gathering, judging and recording evidence against qualification requirements.
• Providing timely, constructive feedback to learners.
• Monitoring learner progress towards completion.
• Working with employers to support learners in their place of work.
