Job Title: Working Site Supervisor

Rate of Pay: £14.46 per hour

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: 39 hours per week

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Working Site Supervisor with a strong background in painting and general building maintenance to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role, ideally suited to someone with experience managing social housing sites, who is confident managing both people and projects on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and work alongside site operatives to ensure high-quality painting and maintenance works.
• Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring tasks are completed on time and according to schedule.
• Act as the primary contact for tenant communication, maintaining clear and professional dialogue.
• Ensure health and safety compliance, including maintaining site files and producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Conduct stock checks on materials and equipment, keep accurate records, and manage subcontractors.
• Work closely with clients to meet KPI satisfaction levels and oversee sign-off for completed works.

Operations

• Ensure all works are within budget, cost-effective, and efficient.
• Use materials responsibly, minimizing wastage and maintaining cleanliness.
• Respond promptly to tasks and maintain high standards in all works.
• Support project success and communicate any issues to the line manager for resolution.

Requirements

• Proven experience in painting and general building maintenance.
• Experience managing teams on social housing projects (preferred).
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle site paperwork and ensure compliance.
• Ability to meet KPIs and deliver high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Recognized qualification or minimum two years of relevant experience.
• Well-organized, self-motivated, and a team player.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance.
• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
