Job summary

UKSE Group is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead field-based maintenance on water treatment equipment. The role involves supervising and performing service and repair tasks at sites, travelling in a van with a fitter/supervisor, and working hands-on as a qualified supervisor.

Job description

Requirements for a Mechanical Supervisor:

• Supervising and working on the service and repair of water treatment equipment at water treatment sites alongside mechanical fitters.
• Field-based role travelling to various water treatment sites within a provided van alongside a fitter/supervisor. Depot-based in Barnsley.
• This is a working supervisor's role, so you must have the mechanical experience to undertake the work yourself.
• CSCS Card - required.
• SSSTS - required.
• Confined Space Certificate - required; training can be provided.
• Safety Critical Medical - required, but training can be provided.

Job Details:

• £28 - £29 per hour (depending on experience).
• Paid door-to-door from the depot to home.
• Time and a quarter if you go over 40 hours a week.
• Van + Fuel card provided with tooling and PPE.
• Accommodation will be provided when working away from home.
• (Must be within travelling distance of the Wolverhampton depot).

Contract starts as soon as possible and runs until the end of the year.
