Job summary

UKSE Group is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee the service and repair of water treatment equipment at multiple sites. You will supervise field crews and travel from a Barnsley depot to sites with a fitter/supervisor, doing hands-on work as needed.

The role requires CSCS, SSSTS, and Confined Space certifications (training can be provided). Accommodation is arranged when working away from home, and the position is within travelling distance of the Wolverhampton depot.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical experience to perform work personally.
• Field-based role with van provided, travelling to water treatment sites with a fitter/supervisor.
• CSCS Card required; SSSTS required; Confined Space Certificate required (training can be provided).

Responsibilities

Job description

Requirements for a Mechanical Supervisor:

• Supervising and working on service and repair of water treatment equipment water treatment sites alongside mechanical fitters.
• Field based role travelling to various water treatment sites within a provided van alongside a fitter/supervisor. Depot based in Barnsley.
• This is a working supervisors role so you must have the mechanical experience to undertake the work yourself.
• CSCS Card - required.
• SSSTS - required.
• Confined Space Certificate - required, training can be provided.

£28 - £29 per hour (depending on experience).

Paid door to door from the depot to home.

Time and a third paid over 8 hours.

Van + Fuel card provided with tooling and PPE.

Accommodation will be booked when working away from home.

(Must be within travelling distance of the Wolverhampton depot).

Contract starting 24/08 until the end of the year.
