Job summary

The Bloomsbury Group, on behalf of our client, is seeking an experienced Working Site Foreman to oversee external refurbishment works on a residential property in Euston. You will own the day‑to‑day running of the site and lead a small team to deliver works safely and efficiently.

Key duties include supervising 2–3 labourers and 1 decorator, coordinating trades, and ensuring high health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising small-site refurbishment projects.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain safety standards.
• Comfortable working at height and on scaffolding.
• Strong communication and English language skills.
• Proactive, reliable and with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 2–3 labourers and 1 decorator.
• Open and close the site daily.
• Organise access to residential flats for window refurbishment.
• Coordinate and liaise with trades (window fitters, bricklayers, etc.).
• Oversee preparation and decoration of external downpipes and windowsills.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety and site housekeeping.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced, hands‑on Working Site Foreman to oversee external refurbishment works on a residential property in Euston. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and reliable foreman who can take ownership of the day‑to‑day running of the site, manage a small team and ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a team of 2-3 labourers and 1 decorator.
• Open and close the site daily.
• Organise access to residential flats for window replacement works.
• Coordinate and liaise with window fitters, bricklayers and other trades.
• Oversee the preparation and decoration of external downpipes and windowsills.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, site organisation and housekeeping.
• Take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the site.
• Be hands‑on and willing to assist with works when required.
• Ensure safe working practices when working on scaffolding and at height.
  Valid SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
• Valid First Aid certificate.
• Good IT skills.
• Good spoken English and communication skills.
• Comfortable working on scaffolding and at height.
• Strong understanding of site health and safety.
• Previous experience managing small teams and coordinating multiple trades.
