Job summary

Linear Recruitment Ltd in Stockton-on-Tees is seeking an experienced Freelance Working Foreman to oversee day-to-day civil engineering site operations, coordinate subcontractors and site teams, and ensure works are delivered safely and to the required standard.

The role suits hands-on Foreman or Site Supervisor who can lead while contributing directly to on-site works, maintain RAMS and quality, and report progress to the Site Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Working Foreman, General Foreman, Site Supervisor or similar.
• Strong experience within civil engineering.
• Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on.
• Strong health & safety awareness.
• Relevant site qualifications, ideally SSSTS/SMSTS and CSCS.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating site operatives and subcontractors

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Working Foreman to join a well-established civil engineering contractor on a project in Stockton-on-Tees.

This is a hands-on site-based position, suited to an experienced Foreman/Site Supervisor who is confident leading site activities while also getting involved with the works directly.

The Role

As Working Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors and site teams, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and coordinating site operatives and subcontractors
• Assisting with the planning and sequencing of daily works

About You
