Platinum Search Recruitment are delighted to present a fantastic Working Foreman opportunity with a well-established family-owned construction business. You will oversee site teams, coordinate subcontractors and ensure work is delivered safely, on time and to specification.

Based across Home Counties and surrounding counties, the role requires a trade background, CSCS card and strong health & safety knowledge. A competitive package is on offer with van, pension and generous holiday.

Qualifications

• Trade background with proven Foreman or similar role experience.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Good understanding of industry standards and ISO requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the day-to-day activities of site teams.
• Create working schedules and allocate tasks effectively.
• Order and coordinate equipment and materials as required.
• Manage subcontractors with the approval of management.
• Monitor progress and ensure works remain on programme.
• Keep management updated on project progress and any issues.
• Ensure projects are completed on or ahead of agreed deadlines.
• Implement and maintain safe systems of work on site.
• Ensure all staff and operatives adhere to health & safety requirements.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with the specification and required quality standards.
• Liaise with clients and other stakeholders professionally and effectively.

Platinum Search Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established, family-owned construction business with an excellent reputation for delivering quality projects across a range of sectors.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Working Foreman to join their Small Works & Frameworks team, delivering projects valued up to £1m. Our client operate across the Home Counties, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire and into Oxfordshire and North London.

Working closely with the Contracts Manager, you will coordinate site teams and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, to the required quality and within agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• A trade background with proven experience working as a Foreman or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures.
• Good understanding of industry standards and ISO requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Relevant, current CSCS card, supported by an appropriate recognised qualification such as NVQ, HNC/HND or equivalent.
• SSSTS.
• First Aid at Work.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to wear company-issued PPE and uniform on site.

Security & Vetting

You must also be willing to undergo DBS, BPSS and/or other client-led security vetting or clearance checks where required.

• £40,000 - £45,000 salary, depending on experience
