Mitie is seeking a Working Cleaning Supervisor to deliver excellent service standards across multiple client sites, including Hitachi Rail in Bristol. You will lead a cleaning team, schedule tasks, train staff and ensure health and safety procedures are followed on a 37.5 hour week.

This permanent, full-time role requires proactive communication and a reliable, hands-on approach to continuous service improvement.

Responsabilités

• Manage a cleaning team, support with recruitment, scheduling, training, and development
• Deliver routine planned and periodic cleaning to a high standard
• Ensure staff follow task schedules and Health & Safety procedures
• Monitor cleanliness standards, distribute uniforms, and manage stock levels
• Handle issues professionally and escalated to line manager when needed
• Conduct regular cleaning audits across the depot to ensure cleaning standards are consistently maintained
• Manage and oversee the effective use of the Merlin Connect system, ensuring compliance with Mitie's proof of presence system for cleaning
• Train and supervise the cleaning team in the safe and effective use of scrubber dryers, pressure washers, and ride‑on cleaning equipment
• Promote a strong safety culture by encouraging all team members to proactively identify and report hazards, near misses, and safety concerns within the rail working environment.
