  • Title: Workday Test Analyst
  • Band: UKRI Band D (UKRI Ts & Cs)
  • Salary: £36,650 gross per annum
  • Reports to: Workday Product Manager
  • Location: Swindon (Hybrid Working)
  • Contract: Fixed Term Until 31/03/2026

Job Purpose

The Workday Team at Innovate UK supports HR and Finance functions. The role involves understanding and analyzing user and business needs, defining requirements, supporting projects, configuring and deploying solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience with Workday HCM and Finance modules, and be proactive in process improvement and system development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather requirements and document business process flows.
  • Model current and future business processes.
  • Coordinate system analysis and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Lead and support Workday implementation and improvement projects.
  • Manage system changes, testing, and operational support queries.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize processes.
  • Coach teams and develop reports and documentation.
  • Manage Workday releases and ensure documentation and training materials are up to date.
  • Support security role management and develop SOPs.

Person Specification
Experience & Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Workday certification in relevant modules.
  • Advanced Workday design and configuration experience.
  • Experience in end-to-end Workday projects and business analysis.
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
Desirable
  • Business Analysis qualification.
  • Prince2 or Agile certifications.
  • Project management skills and risk planning.
Competencies

Demonstrate core competencies such as problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, influencing, self-management, strategic awareness, teamwork, and project management. Some competencies will be assessed at interview.

Travel may be required occasionally within the UK.
