Job summary

Darktrace seeks a Workday Technical Systems Lead to maintain and evolve our Workday integration ecosystem across HR and Finance. Reporting to the Digital Transformation Lead, you’ll drive secure, scalable integrations and governance across the Workday platform.

This hands-on technical leadership role combines delivery with architecture, security, reporting and service management responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering and supporting Workday technical solutions.
• Knowledge of Workday integration tools, including Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder, Workday Report Writer and iLoad.
• Experience designing ETL processes using relevant ETL tools and technologies.
• Strong experience of web services and APIs, including WSDL, SOAP, REST and related standards.
• Technical expertise in XML and Java.
• Experience with interfaces, data warehousing, relational databases and performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of HR and Finance systems, data models, organizational structures and security roles.
• Solid understanding of Workday security features, controls and governance.
• Advanced experience creating Workday HCM and Finance reports, including Workday Report Writer and Calculated Fields.
• Understanding database architecture, tables, system interactions and impact on downstream systems.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Workday technical architecture and roadmaps.
• Design, deliver, support and improve integrations between Workday and other systems.
• Develop and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, IIB, web services and APIs.
• Ensure secure and efficient data exchange across Workday HCM and Finance.
• Govern Workday security model and access controls.
• Support regulatory compliance, audit readiness and security governance.
• Develop Workday reporting and analytics capabilities for decision-making.
• Maintain stability and availability of Workday services via monitoring and incident management.
• Troubleshoot complex integration and platform issues; implement sustainable solutions.
• Assess Workday releases and platform changes; plan deployments.
• Collaborate with Workday and partners to align with architecture and security needs.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external providers on delivery requirements.
