Job summary

Capital City College is a leading London FE provider seeking a Work Placement Officer to secure and evidence eligible employment outcomes within funded programmes. You will ensure outcomes are achieved on time and backed by auditable evidence, while collaborating with employers and college teams.

You’ll join a supportive team focused on delivering high‑quality learner support and positive progression into employment, apprenticeships or further study.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Experience of developing successful relationships with employers and generating work placement, apprenticeship or employment opportunities.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Experience of managing a learner caseload and supporting individuals into employment, apprenticeships or sustained progression.

Responsibilities

• Secure and evidence eligible employment outcomes, including ‘Good Work’ and ‘Other Work’ outcomes where applicable to the funded programme.
• Ensure that outcomes are achieved within the required timescales, meet the relevant employment conditions and are supported by auditable evidence.
• Work with employers and college teams to drive placement opportunities and timely progression for learners.
