Job summary

Capital City College is seeking a Work Placement Officer to support and drive key operational functions, helping shape the future of education in London. This full-time fixed-term contract runs to 31 July 2029, with a focus on securing and evidencing eligible employment outcomes for funded programmes.

You will ensure outcomes meet required timescales, are supported by auditable evidence, and involve managing learner caseloads and building strong relationships with employers to create work

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Experience of developing successful relationships with employers and generating work placement, apprenticeship or employment opportunities.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Experience of managing a learner caseload and supporting individuals into employment, apprenticeships or sustained progression.

Responsibilities

• Secure and evidence eligible employment outcomes (Good Work / Other Work).
• Ensure outcomes are achieved within timescales and supported by auditable evidence.
• Support and drive key operational functions for the department.
