Job summary

Think FE Ltd in Northamptonshire is seeking a Construction Employer Engagement & Partnerships Officer to connect construction employers with students preparing to enter the industry. This hands-on role involves speaking with employers, arranging work placements and supporting learners to access meaningful career opportunities.

You'll visit sites across the region, build relationships with local companies, match students to placements and coordinate industry engagement activities with tutors.

We're working with a specialist college in Northamptonshire that is looking for a Construction Employer Engagement & Partnerships Officer to connect construction employers with students preparing to enter the industry.

This is a hands‑on role where you'll spend your time speaking with employers, arranging work placements, visiting businesses, supporting students and helping create opportunities that lead to future employment.

What you'll be doing

• Building relationships with local construction companies and industry partners
• Finding work placement opportunities for students
• Visiting employers and placement sites across the region
• Matching students with suitable placements
• Supporting employers throughout the placement process
• Organising careers events, employer talks and industry engagement activities
• Working with construction tutors to understand student and employer needs
• Monitoring placements and ensuring the required paperwork and compliance checks are completed
• Helping students develop valuable industry experience before they enter employment
