Job summary

The Growth Company in Manchester is seeking a dedicated Employability Advisor to support individuals facing complex barriers. You will work with participants to assess needs, develop action plans and connect them with opportunities in health, employment and wellbeing.

You will collaborate with NHS services, GP practices and employers, carrying out Work and Health Assessments, delivering tailored guidance and maintaining accurate case records. Travel across the county is a requirement.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering guidance, advice, coaching or person-centred support.
• Ability to manage a caseload and prioritise competing demands.
• Knowledge of local support services and referral pathways.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants and provide tailored support to achieve employment goals.
• Conduct Work and Health Assessments in person and online.
• Develop individual action plans to overcome barriers and move towards sustainable employment.
• Source job opportunities through employer engagement and local labour market knowledge.
• Collaborate with NHS services, GP practices, social prescribing teams and community partners.
• Deliver triage support and refer participants to appropriate services.
• Maintain accurate records and data entry in line with programme requirements.
