Job summary

USP College is seeking an organised, proactive and relationship-focused Work Experience Team Leader to drive the delivery of its work experience and industry placement programme across both campuses. You will lead a team of Employment Skills Advisors and Industry Placement Advisors, and develop strong partnerships with local employers to create meaningful opportunities for learners.

• Experience leading or supervising a team in FE
• Strong understanding of work experience, industry placements and employability in FE
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
• Commitment to safeguarding, health and safety and data recording
• Ability to build relationships with learners, staff and employers

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Work Experience team across both campuses
• Line manage Employment Skills Advisors and Industry Placement Advisors, overseeing performance and development
• Coordinate work experience and industry placements
• Plan and oversee the annual work experience schedule around curriculum, events and learner needs
• Develop and maintain strong employer partnerships and match learners to placements
• Ensure safe, compliant delivery and maintain records in relevant systems
