onlyFE is seeking a Work Placement Engagement Officer to coordinate meaningful work placements across the college. The role requires building strong employer relationships and aligning placement opportunities with curriculum needs.

You will engage employers, match students to placements, and lead Employer Advisory Boards while collaborating with multiple college departments to upscale opportunities and ensure successful placements.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging employers to secure work placements.
• Ability to work across college departments to match students to placements.
• Willingness to travel to employer sites and attend events.
• Knowledge of health and safety risk assessment processes.
• Self-starter with resilience and proactive problem solving.

Responsabilités

• Engage existing employers and increase student placements per employer.
• Build links with new employers and match students to placements.
• Arrange Employer Advisory Boards to influence curriculum.
• Collaborate with placement team and departments to upscale opportunities.
• Support learners during work placements and complete risk assessments.
• Use college systems to capture employer and student engagement data.
• Travel to conduct risk assessments and attend employer events.
