Job summary

NCG in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive Work Experience Coordinator to deliver a high-quality work experience and placement programme for learners across the college through sessions, workshops and one-to-ones.

You will inspire students to take ownership of their career development, coordinate engaging employer opportunities and ensure health and safety, safeguarding and quality assurance processes are followed. Collaboration with Marketing and Curriculum teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people individually and in groups.
• Experience of working with employers and external partners.
• Good IT skills and the ability to manage learner data and reporting.
• Understanding of FE landscape (study programmes, apprenticeships or T Levels) or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Source, build and maintain strong relationships with employers to create meaningful work placement opportunities.
• Support learners in developing work-readiness skills through sessions and workshops.
• Motivate students to secure aspirational, high-quality placements.
• Work with curriculum teams to plan work-related activities including guest speakers and live briefs.
• Ensure health and safety, safeguarding and quality processes are followed.
• Maintain learner and placement records using CRM and college systems.
• Champion learner success stories and positive employer engagement with Marketing.
• Contribute to CEIAG practices across the college.
