Job summary

NCG is seeking a proactive Work Experience Coordinator for Law, Criminology and Policing to design and deliver a high-quality work experience and placements programme for learners across the college, engaging employers and partners to create meaningful opportunities.

You will coordinate activities, ensure health and safety, maintain records in CRM, and work with curriculum teams to enhance CEIAG.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people individually and in groups.
• Experience of working with employers and external partners.
• Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good IT skills and the ability to manage learner data and reporting.
• Understanding of FE landscape, including study programmes, apprenticeships or T Levels (or willingness to develop this knowledge).
• Experience of facilitating and delivering sessions or workshops (or a willingness to develop skills towards this).

Responsibilities

• Source, build and maintain strong relationships with employers to create meaningful work placement opportunities.
• Support learners in developing work-readiness skills through sessions and workshops.
• Motivate students to secure aspirational, high-quality placements.
• Work closely with curriculum teams to plan work-related activities including guest speakers, industry visits, live briefs and virtual experiences.
• Ensure all health and safety, safeguarding and quality assurance processes are followed.
• Maintain accurate learner and placement records using CRM and college systems.
• Champion learner success stories and positive employer engagement through collaboration with Marketing.
• Contribute to the development of innovative CEIAG (Careers Education, Information, Advice & Guidance) practices across the college.
