Job summary

St George’s School in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive Work Experience Co-ordinator & Careers Assistant to support our learners with diverse needs. You will arrange placements, liaise with employers and maintain our database of work experiences across Key Stage 4 and 5, while collaborating with the Careers Lead.

You will hold safeguarding at the centre of practice, work to deadlines, and contribute to professional development within a supportive, inclusive school environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
• Relevant experience working in an administrative role, managing records and maintaining databases.
• Good communication skills, and able to work to deadlines.
• A strong student focus, safeguarding at the centre of practice.
• Relevant experience and understanding of working with young people with SEN would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Organise work experience placements across Key Stage 4 and 5.
• Liaise positively with employers and agencies to maintain our placements database.
• Support Careers Lead with events and administrative tasks.
