Job summary

Think Recruitment are working with a well-established social housing provider to appoint an experienced Localities Area Manager to lead responsive repairs and maintenance across Worcester City.

You will manage a team of 14 trades operatives, drive KPI performance, monitor budgets, ensure safety and compliance, and collaborate with internal departments and external partners to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within social housing, responsive repairs, property maintenance, construction or a similar operational environment.
• Experience delivering responsive repairs and/or voids maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of property maintenance and building compliance.
• Experience managing operational KPIs and driving service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of multi-skilled trades operatives.
• Ensure repairs are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Drive performance against KPIs and service standards.
• Manage team performance through regular 1:1s, coaching and development.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor budgets, productivity and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements and housing legislation.
• Collaborate with internal departments, contractors and external partners.
• Utilise performance data to identify areas for improvement.
• Support organisational change and embedding new ways of working.
