Job description

Wood Machinists Late Shift: 15:00 PM to 01:00 AM (Mon - Thurs)

Salary: £29,600 - £36,900 dependent on experience

Position: Permanent

Work Schedule: Four-day week (Mon - Thurs)

Experience: Experience in working within a fast-paced timber environment preparing and using woodworking machinery is essential.

Duties:

1. Prepare and use woodworking machinery such as Weinig Powermat 100 (preferable)
2. Read and understand technical drawings and templates
3. Select the correct material and calculate quantities required for the job
4. Basic maintenance of woodworking machinery desirable
5. Knowledge of Beam saw operation is an advantage

Hours of work are permanent late shift (Mon – Thurs: 15:00 PM – 01:00 AM). Candidates will need to have access to their own transport.
