CNC Wood Machinist vacancy in Leeds

The job is a long‑term permanent role at a well‑established, financially stable manufacturer with an excellent reputation in the sector. The successful candidate will work in a modern production environment as an experienced operator of a CNC wood machine (SCM 100), responsible for maintaining production targets, volume and quality.

Career progression opportunities exist.

Work shifts: either 6‑2, 2‑10 rotating or permanent 6‑2 morning shifts.

Requirements

• Experience gained in the timber / joinery manufacturing sector.
• Ability to set and operate a wood CNC machine.
• Programming experience and/or experience with traditional woodworking machinery an advantage.
• Effective communication with colleagues on the shop floor and at management level.
• Good work attitude; committed, dedicated and sets a good example.
