Job summary

Changing Lives is seeking a compassionate Project Worker for Cumberland House, a 12-bed women’s accommodation in the West End of Newcastle. You will join a small, friendly team to provide trauma-informed support to women experiencing homelessness.

You will manage a caseload of 3–4 women, offering person-centred assistance to help them move toward independence and stability within a safe, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Trauma-informed approach required or desirable.
• Compassionate, supportive approach to women facing homelessness.
• Experience with case management or supported housing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 3–4 women with trauma-informed support.
• Provide person-centred, trauma-responsive assistance to move toward independence.

About the Service - Housing & Homelessness Services

A safe home is the solid base from which you build your life. We support people who are experiencing homelessness, or at risk of becoming homeless, as well as providing specialist accommodation and outreach services for rough sleepers, veterans, survivors of domestic abuse, women and young people.

Cumberland House is a 12 bed women's accommodation, located in the West End of Newcastle.

We are looking to recruit a compassionate, enthusiastic Project Worker to join our small, friendly team. As a service, we offer trauma-informed support for women with a diverse range of needs, who have experienced homelessness.

As a Project Worker, you will manage a case load of 3 to 4 women, offering person-centred, trauma-responsive support to support women to move towards independence.
