Job summary

Coventry City Council is seeking a Programme Officer for Women’s Only Support & STEP Forward to develop, deliver and improve projects empowering women from migrant and refugee backgrounds.

You will work with partners to monitor performance, manage compliance, and ensure services are accessible, trauma-informed and culturally sensitive, with a 2-year fixed-term contract and a genuine occupational requirement for a female candidate.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, organised and collaborative approach to working with diverse communities.
• Strong understanding of community engagement and partnership working.
• Experience monitoring programme activity and producing reports.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the STEP Forward Project and Women’s Only Support Service, ensuring activities are accessible and inclusive.
• Coordinate monitoring, data collection and evaluation to improve delivery.
• Develop partnerships with community organisations and stakeholders.
• Organise engagement events and opportunities to improve outcomes for women.
