GlobalLogic, part of Hitachi Group, seeks an experienced WMS Solution Architect / Technical Lead to guide end-to-end integrations across WMS, ERP, e-commerce, and 3PL within a global FMCG context. You will translate business needs into scalable technical designs and lead cross-functional teams to delivery.
This role focuses on architecture and leadership rather than hands-on coding, with opportunities to drive intelligent automation and modernisation of warehouse operations.
GlobalLogic, part of Hitachi Group, is looking for an experienced WMS Solution Architect / Technical Lead to join a digital transformation project for a leading global FMCG company.
The client operates a complex enterprise technology landscape across retail, supply chain, and warehouse operations, using multiple ERP platforms, including Oracle, NetSuite, and JD Edwards.
The project focuses on modernising enterprise systems and improving integrations between Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP platforms, e-commerce solutions, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
We are looking for a professional who can bridge business strategy and technical execution, drive end-to-end solution architecture, and provide technical leadership across complex integration initiatives.
This is primarily an architecture and technical leadership role rather than a hands-on development position.
Nice to Have:
Lead end-to-end solution architecture for WMS, ERP, e-commerce, and 3PL integrations across complex enterprise environments.
Analyse existing warehouse management processes, integration challenges, and business requirements to define scalable technical solutions.
Design integration architecture, including APIs, middleware, data flows, and event-driven integration patterns.
Translate business requirements into high-level solution designs, technical specifications, and architectural recommendations.
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development and integration teams.
Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to understand operational challenges, identify improvement opportunities, and propose effective solutions.
Coordinate with developers, architects, business analysts, and external technology providers to ensure successful solution delivery.
Review technical designs and ensure alignment with business objectives, integration standards, and architectural best practices.
Support the modernisation of warehouse management processes, including inventory management, inbound/outbound operations, and order fulfilment.
Identify opportunities for automation, AI-driven improvements, and optimisation across retail and supply chain operations.
Contribute to architectural decisions, integration planning, and technical delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
