Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, seeks an experienced Contract Technical Functional .Net Lead Developer for 9-12 months+. This hybrid role requires 1-2 days on-site.

Lead end-to-end development and integrations across ERP, WMS, 3PL, and Ecommerce for a global retail client, with a focus on .NET, AI integration, and solution design. Strong hands-on expertise in .NET Core, C#, MS SQL, RESTful APIs, and Azure Cloud hosting is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with .NET/ASP.NET Core, C#, and SQL Server.
• Experience integrating AI/ML services (Azure OpenAI) and building API integrations.
• Retail, CPG and Supply Chain Logistics knowledge, ERP/WMS/3PL experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development and integrations across ERP, WMS, 3PL, and Ecommerce platforms.
• Define architecture and provide engineering solution designs and deliverables.
• Mentor teams, conduct code reviews, and enforce CI/CD practices.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Contract Technical Functional .Net Lead Developer - this is a contract role for 9-12months+. Inside IR 35. To start ASAP. This role is hybrid (1-2 days), and entails working directly with our client, on site.

The role involves leading end-to-end development and integrations across our global retail client's tech estate. You will be a proactiveTechno-Functional Lead expertise in the .NET ecosystem, and AI integration. This is a hybrid hands-on role (combining functional/technical ownership with leadership) responsible for defining architecture, engineering solution design deliverables, and reverse-engineering complex supply chain processes into actionable technical systems.

You will lead cross-functional alignment, bridge business stakeholders with engineering teams, and deliver robust integration frameworks across ERP, WMS, 3PL, and Ecommerce platforms. You will have a background in Retail systems.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in .NET / ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, C#, MS SQL Server, RESTful APIs, and Azure Cloud hosting/services.
• Hands-on experience or architectural integration of AI/ML capabilities (e.g. Azure OpenAI Services, predictive logistics models, LLM integration, or intelligent automation).
• Expertise in Retail, CPG, and Supply Chain Logistics. Ideally integration with ERP, Ecommerce, and 3PL / WMS platforms.
• Proven background in Event-driven architecture, Message Bus / Middleware integrations, asynchronous communications, and API management.
• Demonstrated ability to author high-quality Design Documents.
• Ability to conduct code reviews, establish technical standards, enforce CI/CD branching strategies, and drive active hands-on development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams and business leaders.
