Job summary

Golf Holdings is seeking a Store Manager for Sunnyside Street in Belfast. You will lead Sales Advisors, drive customer service excellence, and manage day-to-day store operations in line with company policy.

A strong focus on sales, merchandising and staff development is essential to maximise profitability. The role requires at least 1 year in a customer-focused environment, with a smart appearance and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs with English Language and Maths or equivalent (Grade C or above).
• Or 1 year supervisory or management experience in a retail or customer focused environment.
• Must complete WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits.

Responsibilities

• Customer Relations / Selling Skills – promote professional customer service and meet KPIs.
• Commercial and Business Acumen – seek opportunities and present products effectively.
• Leadership – manage day-to-day store operations and staff; enforce policy and procedures.
• Legislation – ensure compliance with health and safety, licensing and trading standards.
• Organisation and Planning – schedule tasks, delegate, and plan contingencies.
• Maximise Resources – meet sales, stock loss, stock levels, hours, and costs targets.
• Quality Emphasis – maintain high store and personal standards; strong merchandising.
• Motivating Others – foster teamwork and motivation.
• Staff Training and Development – provide feedback and foster growth.
• Effective Administration – manage cash, stock, payroll, marketing; maintain accuracy.
• Problem Solving – identify and resolve issues using analytical approach.
• Any other duties relevant to the post.
