Job summary

Majestic Wine Oxford Summertown is seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in driving sales and daily store operations. You will deliver exceptional customer experiences, manage KPI performance, and help develop the team with wine knowledge and WSET ambitions.

You must be able to work evenings and weekends, hold a UK driving licence, and take pride in store presentation. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for progression within Majestic

Qualifications

Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environment.
Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer experience and service.
Experience understanding retail KPIs and driving improvements.
Ability to prioritise and solve problems under pressure.
WSET 2 and 3 qualifications desired; full UK manual driving licence.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Support Store Manager in driving performance and day-to-day operations.
Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and maintaining KPI focus.
Deliver market-leading customer service to drive loyalty and repeat purchases.
Lead by example, mentor junior staff and develop product knowledge.
