Job summary

Berkmann Wine Cellars LTD is seeking a commercially astute Sales Account Manager to drive profitable growth in Liverpool and surrounding areas. You will act as the face of a premium portfolio, building partnerships, winning new business, and supporting tastings and events with exceptional service.

This field-based role requires hosting tastings, managing pricing, and collaborating across teams to deliver growth while representing world-class producers to top venues in the Liverpool area.

Qualifications

• WSET Level 2 or above required.
• Experience with premium or luxury brands advantageous.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills; comfortable with P&L, pricing and data.
• Persuasive communicator with excellent negotiation skills.
• Creative, proactive, resilient and highly organised.
• Confident hosting tastings and customer events.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• UK driving licence with up to 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed volume, value, and margin targets.
• Grow territory through strategic prospecting and onboarding.
• Build strong relationships within the on-trade.
• Act as brand ambassador at tastings, events and activations.
• Manage pricing, profitability, forecasting and customer data.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Logistics, Customer Services and Credit Control.
• Share market insights and customer feedback for planning.
