Co-op Wholesale is growing and is looking for a Category Manager to own our Wine range, pricing, and promotions. You’ll work with our group buying teams and suppliers to build a compelling wine, beers, and spirits offer across channels.

You’ll plan effective range and trading strategies, monitor performance, and turn data into actions that improve commercial results. This hybrid role based in Manchester/Scunthorpe offers an engaging career path with strong partner collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in wine or other product category.
• Ability to develop trading strategies.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage our Wine category, and drive performance across channels
• Plan and deliver effective range, pricing, and promotional strategies
• Monitor Wine category performance and hit targets
• Use data and market insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Collaborate with colleagues across our GCL teams
• Build strong supplier relationships to spark ideas and drive mutual success
