Job summary

OrganOx is seeking a Windows Software Manager to lead the design and development of Windows-based software for device-hosted applications. You will drive end-to-end lifecycle, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage a high-performing team in a regulated medical environment.

The role requires expertise in GUI, connectivity, cybersecurity mitigations, and cross-functional leadership with a system-level ownership mindset. On-site in Oxford with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Proven track record developing, releasing, and maintaining Class II/III medical device software or safety-critical systems (regulatory risk).
• Deep SDLC understanding including Agile methods and testing strategies.
• Experience with edge-to-cloud architectures and OTA update mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a Windows software engineering team for device-hosted applications.
• Oversee end-to-end software development lifecycle with regulatory compliance.
• Drive Agile or hybrid SDLC practices and roadmap planning.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders including regulatory bodies, partners and customers.
