Job summary

LA International is seeking a Windows rollout engineer to lead the deployment of Windows 11 devices, enrolment into Intune/Autopilot, and decommissioning of Windows 10 devices in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and eligibility for security clearance. Applicants should be UK-born and prepared for a security clearance process that can take up to 10 weeks.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build Windows 11 devices using standard images and task sequences.
• Enrol devices into Intune/Autopilot (or SCCM where applicable).
• Install core applications (Microsoft 365 Apps, VPN, security tools, line-of-business apps).
• Deploy Windows 11 devices to end users per rollout schedule.
• Decommission legacy Windows 10 devices per IT policies.
• Backup, restoration, and migration of user data.
• Securely wipe data using approved tools and methods.
• Remove devices from Azure AD/Intune/CMDB systems.
• Manage handover of laptops and devices to multiple users/sites.
• IT equipment install/move/add/change and disposal (data wipe and end-of-life support).
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
• Update asset registers and deployment tracking sheets.
