Job summary

Rubix is seeking a dedicated engineer for the Nottingham area to perform motor electrical static testing, coil manufacture, and motor rewinding. You will work within a team to deliver high-quality repairs and servicing, providing timely reports and documentation throughout the job process.

The role requires flexibility for site work, other workshop activities, and participation in on-call rotas and overtime to meet service levels. IT literacy and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Able to complete motor electrical static testing.
• Able to manufacture LV/HV coils.
• Able to rewind LV/HV motors.
• Ability to work within a team and problem solve.
• IT literate, e.g. use of tablets and software.
• Ability to communicate both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Perform motor electrical static testing as required.
• Manufacture LV/HV coils for projects.
• Rewind LV/HV motors as part of servicing.
• Provide inspection, job records and timekeeping reports.
• Support site work and operate in other engineering workshops.
• Participate in on-call rota, shifts and overtime as needed.

About the Role:

• Work to RUBIX UKII HSEQ policies and procedures.
• Complete all necessary motor electrical static testing.
• Complete the manufacture of LV/HV coils.
• Complete the rewind of LV/HV motors.
• Provide all necessary inspection, job record and timekeeping reports throughout the job process, in line with RUBIX UKII policies and procedures.
• Support other job functions as requested by supervision, including site work and operating in other engineering workshops.
• Active participation in on call rota, shift working and overtime requests to ensure service levels are maintained.
