Job summary

Rubix UKII is seeking an experienced Engineering Workshop Manager to lead the Cardiff workshop, overseeing repair and overhaul of industrial motors and related equipment. You will ensure strict safety compliance, drive performance against KPIs, manage resources and collaborate with sales and operations to grow the business and deliver excellent service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the engineering workshop team to deliver high quality repair and overhaul services for industrial motors and associated equipment.
• Ensure full compliance with all HSEQ policies, procedures, and safety standards across workshop and Insite operations.
• Manage workshop performance to achieve P&L targets, including revenue growth, gross margin, and operational efficiency.
• Act as a senior technical and operational contact for customers, delivering effective solutions and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean processes and best practice engineering standards.
• Allocate engineering resources effectively to maximise productivity, service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with sales and operational teams to support business growth, customer visits, and development of new opportunities.
