Job summary

Rubix UKII seeks an experienced winding technician to join our UK workshop. You will follow HSEQ policies, manufacture LV/HV coils, and perform motor electrical static testing, with on-site work in a busy engineering environment.

You will ensure work is completed to site specifications, delivered on time, and properly documented, including inspections, records and timekeeping. On-call, shift work and overtime may be required to maintain service levels.

Qualifications

• Completed formal winding training through apprenticeship or equivalent.
• On-time delivery of activity; measured via the system.
• Work to site specification standards with zero non-conformances.
• Work completed within the specified time period.
• Site area compliance to 5S cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Work to HSEQ policies and procedures.
• Complete all necessary motor electrical static testing.
• Complete the manufacture of LV/HV coils.
• Complete the rewind of LV/HV motors.
• Provide inspection, job records and timekeeping reports.
• Support other job functions as requested by supervision, including site work and operating in other engineering workshops.
• Active participation in on call rota, shift working and overtime requests to ensure service levels are maintained.
