Role Overview

The Wind Engineer will deliver Wind Measurement and Analysis services within the Engineering Team, CTO, and the wider business, demonstrating the ability to add value to opportunities in a highly competitive and evolving marketplace while ensuring appropriate Engineering and Quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare RFQs for met mast installation and decommissioning tenders
• Evaluate tender documents from suppliers to select preferred suppliers
• Liaise with met mast suppliers
• Organise and perform site surveys
• Manage TSA and contracts with suppliers
• Gather required information and documents for planning applications of met masts

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in a relevant engineering, scientific, physics, or mathematical discipline. Chartered membership of an appropriate professional body is advantageous.
• Previous experience in UK onshore/offshore wind projects is REQUIRED!
• Experience with Wind Assessment Software (Windographer, Windfarmer, OpenWind, or other fluid dynamics modelling software) and ArcGIS is a plus.
