Role Overview

The Wind Engineer will deliver Wind Measurement and Analysis services within the Engineering Team, CTO, and wider business. The role requires demonstrating the ability to add value to opportunities in a highly competitive and changing marketplace while maintaining appropriate Engineering and Quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing RFQs for met mast installation and decommissioning tenders
• Evaluating tender documents from suppliers to select preferred suppliers
• Liaising with met mast suppliers
• Organising and performing site surveys
• Managing TSA and contracts with suppliers
• Gathering required information and documents for planning applications of met masts

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in a relevant engineering, scientific, physics, or mathematical discipline. Chartered membership of an appropriate professional body is advantageous.
• Previous experience in UK onshore/offshore Wind projects is REQUIRED.
• Experience with Wind Assessment Software (Windographer, Windfarmer, OpenWind, or similar) and ArcGIS is a plus.
