Role Overview

The Wind Engineer will deliver Wind Measurement and Analysis services within the Engineering Team, CTO, and wider business, demonstrating an ability to add value to opportunities in a highly competitive and changing marketplace while ensuring appropriate Engineering and Quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation of RFQ for met mast installation/decommissioning tenders
  2. Evaluation of tender documents from suppliers to select preferred supplier
  3. Liaising with met mast suppliers
  4. Organise and perform site surveys
  5. Work on TSA and contracts with suppliers
  6. Collate required information and documents for planning applications of met masts

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of a degree in engineering, scientific, physics, or mathematical discipline. Chartered membership of an appropriate body would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience in UK onshore/offshore Wind projects is REQUIRED.
  • Experience with Wind Assessment Software (Windographer, Windfarmer, OpenWind, or other fluid dynamics modelling software) and ArcGIS is a plus.
