Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Warehouse Operative at the IOW Warehouse Shift 1 in the United Kingdom. You will pick, pack, and fulfil orders for internal and external stakeholders, support stock accuracy, and operate material-handling equipment safely.

You will use SAP and Apriso to manage inventory and transactions, report discrepancies, and help maintain 5S standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A forklift certification and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift and material-handling equipment certification.
• Experience using SAP or similar inventory management systems.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and fulfil orders for internal and external stakeholders, including production requests.
• Maintain stock accuracy through stock checks, cycle counting, and inventory control activities.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment, including loading and unloading trailers.
• Accurately use warehouse management and stock control systems, including SAP and Apriso, to manage inventory and transactions.
• Report stock shortages, inventory discrepancies, and other material-related issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Work efficiently to meet operational deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Follow safe systems of work, risk assessments, and company health and safety procedures.
• Identify and report safety concerns to help maintain a safe working environment.
