Job summary

CRA Consulting are seeking a Wills, Trust & Estates Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join their North Leeds team on a hybrid basis. You will handle wills, estate planning, probate, and Court of Protection matters, with 3+ years PQE and a focus on delivering excellent client care.

The role offers a flexible hybrid arrangement, travel to other offices occasionally, and ongoing training and development within a supportive firm.

Location: North Leeds
Salary: Up to £55,000 DOE
Contract: Full Time, Permanent - Part-time options also considered

About the Firm & Role

CRA Consulting are delighted to be working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm with a strong regional presence and a long-standing commitment to providing high-quality legal advice and client care. The firm is looking to appoint a Wills & Estates Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 3+ years' PQE (or equivalent experience) to join its established Wills & Estates team. Based at the firm's North Leeds office, the role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with some travel to other offices occasionally required. Following a structured onboarding process, you will take responsibility for your own caseload while working alongside experienced fee earners and benefiting from ongoing training and professional development.

The Role

You will handle a varied private client caseload, including:

• Wills and estate planning
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Administration of estates
• Court of Protection matters
• Trusts
• Providing clear, practical legal advice and support to clients
• Assisting senior fee earners with more complex matters as part of your continued development
• Contributing to the firm's marketing and business development activities, including written content and attendance at events where required
• Keeping up to date with relevant legal developments and continuing to develop your technical knowledge

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Qualification as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
• 3+ years' PQE or equivalent experience
• Solid experience across wills, probate and estate planning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine commitment to delivering excellent client care
• The ability to manage your own caseload while working collaboratively as part of a wider team
• A proactive approach to professional development

Experience gained within a leading firm would be advantageous, although training and support will be provided where required. There is also the opportunity for someone with the ambition to work towards a STEP qualification.
