City St George’s, University of London is seeking a Widening Participation Officer (Attainment Raising) to plan, deliver and evaluate outreach programmes for underrepresented learners across London. You will recruit and manage the tutor scheme and collaborate with partner schools to expand access to higher education.

The role requires a degree-level qualification or equivalent experience, with strong organisational and communication skills, and a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

Formación

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in widening participation, education, or youth work.
• Experience delivering educational programmes and engaging effectively with students, teachers, and other stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational abilities, and ability to build partnerships.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, deliver and evaluate widening participation programmes and events.
• Recruit and manage the Widening Participation Student Tutor Scheme.
• Coordinate and support the ASCEND programme for Black Caribbean, African and Mixed Heritage learners.
• Build and maintain external relationships with target partner schools to support tutoring delivery.
