Job summary

University of Cambridge is seeking a Widening Participation Coordinator to join the Student Admissions and Access team. You will coordinate outreach programmes with partners across the University and the UK to broaden access for students from underrepresented backgrounds.

You will lead projects such as Target Oxbridge, design activities to develop academic skills, and work with schools, parents and teachers.

Qualifications

• Experience in education, charity sector or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently or in a team.
• Understanding of widening participation and barriers to higher education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate at least one outreach programme.
• Contribute to development and delivery of WP activity.
• Collaborate with partners across the University and UK.
• Plan and deliver programmes to support prospective applicants.
