What is the job role?

As the Wholesale Operations Assistant, you’ll be an integral point of contact between SunGod and our retail partner's operational teams. You will deploy your exceptional communication and organisational skills to support current and new retail partners through onboarding, order placement and delivery phases. You’ll be the go-to problem solver for any logistical or operational challenges our retail partners are facing and collaborate closely with both the commercial and operations team keeping all stakeholders informed and ensuring we are delivering a seamless operations experience.

This role requires a proactive candidate who can quickly learn and maintain complex systems, databases and processes, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. You’ll need to be highly organised and capable of managing a growing number of accounts at one time in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all processes run smoothly and scale with the addition of new accounts every month.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end onboarding processes for all new accounts and distributors.

Ensuring Purchase Orders are accurately submitted and processed.

Track and monitor stock levels, proactively addressing potential shortages or adjustments needed to minimise disruption to customers.

Be the first point of contact for our retail partners on anything operations or logistics related.

Communicate between SunGod’s sales and operations team, and the partner’s operations team.

Learn and maintain complex systems and databases, with a focus on accuracy, to ensure all stock, order, and retailer information is consistently up-to-date.

Assist in identifying areas for operational improvement, contributing insights that could enhance our supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate for this role is meticulously organised, communicative, has a keen eye for operational improvements, and is eager to build a career in operations with escalating responsibilities over time. You’ll report directly to the Partnerships Director, but will work closely with the Operations team.

The ideal person has the following skills, experiences and competencies:

1-2 years of experience in an operations-based role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team and with external suppliers.

Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.

Proficiency with software and the ability to quickly learn and manage systems and databases.

Ability to multitask and prioritise, maintaining focus and accuracy under pressure.

Experience with B2B CRM and PM tools is desirable (airtable, Shopify B2B, Asana etc).

A genuine interest in sports and the outdoors, aligning with our brand values and active community.
