Bourne Community College in England is seeking a proactive Whole School Technician (Design Technology) to join our dedicated staff team. You will support teaching and learning by preparing and maintaining equipment, resources and workspaces across Design Technology and Engineering.
You will assist staff and students in practical sessions, carry out routine maintenance and repairs, and ensure areas are safe, tidy and ready for use.

As our Whole School Technician, you will play a vital role in supportingteaching and learning by preparing and maintaining equipment, resources, andworkspaces with the majority of time spent in the Design Technology andEngineering department. You will assist staff and students in practicalsessions, carry out routine maintenance and repairs, and ensure all areas aresafe, tidy, and ready for use. You will prepare materials and resources forpractical lessons in Design Technology and Engineering. You will be working across different subjectareas under the direction of the Director of the Technology Faculty. There willbe some preparation of resources for the Art Department as well.
This is a permanent post required for September/October 2026.
Salary – NJCGrade 4 Points 5-6 £25583 - £25989 p.a. pro rata37 hours per week, term time only plus Inset Days
