Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is seeking proactive Recruitment Consultants to work with employers across West Yorkshire District, helping businesses access talented individuals and create meaningful employment opportunities for customers.

You will link employers, jobseekers and partners, building strong relationships with local businesses to understand workforce needs and develop practical recruitment solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment or client-facing roles preferred.
• Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Strong communication and networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with employers to generate opportunities.
• Identify recruitment opportunities and influence employers to use DWP services.
• Explain the full DWP offer to employers (Work Experience, Youth Guarantee, etc.).
• Gather employer and customer insight to inform activity and respond to local labour market needs.
• Collaborate with partners to support skills development and local recruitment.
• Share employer insights to match customers to roles.
• Engage with businesses to recruit through DWP services and events.
