Location: Cardiff
Days & Hours:

  • Full time: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:00
  • Part time: Flexible days available
    Pay: £110 per day
    Start Date: 19th of January 2026
    Full time contract: Until the end of the academic year 2026

About the Role

As a Welsh Speaking Unqualified Teacher, you will:

  • Supervise classes in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain focused and engaged with pre-prepared work.
  • Deliver set lessons and maintain a positive, productive learning environment.
  • Support students with additional learning needs where required.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, in line with school policies.
  • Ensure the classroom remains organised and safe.
  • Report any incidents or challenges to school staff or department heads.
What We’re Looking For
  • Fluent Welsh speaker with excellent communication skills in both Welsh and English.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Adaptability to work in various school settings.
  • A positive attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people.
  • Awareness of safeguarding and the importance of maintaining a safe learning environment.
